Philip Seymour Hoffman dies. Sad news indeed though not half as sad as all those celebrities dying to get their tweets broadcasted as soon as humanly possible. Oh I can feel the sympathy. The blood’s still warm for Chrissakes!

Day 6 and the mornings are brightening

Day 6 and the mornings are brightening

Day Six: February 3, 2014. 8.30. A brief respite from the rainy conditions. Shard now represents a beacon of hope, an indicator that today won’t be a day of floods, a sign that southern England can breathe a sigh of relief.

Temperature: About 6c. Not really that cold. Certainly not cold enough for gloves.

Greyscale: A peel of light over the pinnacle.

In E L James’s words: I guess that takes Hoffmann out of the film lead equation.
