London: On the longest day, the bestest evening

The Thames on a sunny evening, about 9pm.

That view. That light. You couldn’t ask for more. And because the weather isn’t always great in London, you just notice it a little more.

We were spellbound after an hour watching the most incredible physical theatre, a circus called Gravity at A Simple Space near the Eye. Perving on the human body has never been so fun – and these guys could do things with theirs that made us gasp. Literally gasp.

Then, outside in the real world, we paused by the Thames. Even more spellbinding, the light fell upon the Houses of Parliament and we gasped again. To top it off, Big Ben struck nine.
